Itinerary

When you arrive at the gate of Kualanamu International Airport, you will be greeted by representatives of PT. NUANSA INDAH TOUR MEDAN. Next, the group will be taken to Medan. Upon arrival in Medan, you will get a city tour to visit the Maimun palace which was built in 1888 in the Malay and Middle Eastern style belonging to the sultan of Deli. Visit the great Almashum mosque which was built in the same period as the Maimun palace. Visit the colorful Chinese temple, East Mountain monastery. Transfer to hotel for rest and free program.

After breakfast at the hotel, you will continue your journey to about 4 hours to Bukit Lawang, a small tourist village located on the edge of Gunung Leuser National Park. Bukit Lawang is the most accessible place to see Orangutans in Leuser park, And this park is one of the largest national parks in the world which has more than 800,000 ha of forest and is home to a large number of mammal species such as tigers, orangutans, gibbons, elephants and rhinoceros. On the way you will make short stops at oil palm plantations and local markets. Arrive at Bukit Lawang, free program to relax. And you will enjoy the view from the hotel.

You will have breakfast at the hotel , you will follow a forest trail for 2-3 hours to explore more tropical flora and fauna. This is not a flat road but involves some ups and downs. It's a bit difficult, but in return you will get a very pleasant experience and you have a great opportunity to see gibbons, thomas leaf monkeys, longtail and pigtail macagues, flying squirrels, Sumatra peacocks and hornbills. Wild orangutans may cross your path. The Jungle walk ends at the riverside from where you start your tubing experience. You will float on the river with a car tire float about 20 minutes to the hotel. This is a fun rafting and relaxing way to enjoy the scenery during tubing. After tubing, relax before boarding the car to continue your next journey to Berastagi at an altitude of 1,300m. Berastagi is a small town located in the hills that has fresh and cold air. Berastagi city is also flanked by two active volcanoes. such as, Mount Sinabung with a height of 2,417m and Mount Sibayak with a height of 2,172m, which are located in the Karo Batak area. The Karo Batak are one of the six Batak tribes who inhabit the province of North Sumatra. Before arriving at the hotel, we will take you to visit the Berastagi fruit market, which is produced from the Berastagi community garden itself.

Breakfast at hotel and continue the journey to Lake Toba, one of the deepest and largest crater lakes in the world and then stop at Dokan, a small Karo Batak village with a number of traditional houses still inhabited by eight families each. Visit the beautiful Sipiso-piso waterfall with a height of 120 meters. Stop at Pematang Purba to see the wooden palace (Rumah Bolon) of the former Batak king Simalungun. Stop at Simarjarunjung to see the stunning and beautiful view of Lake Toba. In the afternoon you will arrive at Parapat, the main tourist resort located on the shores of Lake Toba. From here cross the lake by motor boat (Fery) about 45 minutes to Samosir Island, a volcanic island in the middle of Lake Toba. You will stay at the village of Tuktuk, a peninsula on the east coast of the island of Samosir.

Breakfast at hotel and continue the journey to explore the natural beauty and cultural aspects of Batak Toba by car. Visiting Ambarita village, the most interesting Toba Batak village on Samosir Island. Ambarita is known for its
unique ancient courtyard, consisting of stone chairs and tables. This page served as the court of the Batak King in ancient times. Visit the house of king Sidauruk in Simanindo village and watch a traditional Batak Toba folk dance
called the Tor-Tor dance, performed by the villagers. Here you can also visit a museum built in the typical Toba Batak style. On the way back to the hotel, we will take you to visit Tomok village to see a very old but beautifully decorated
sarcophagus, the old tomb of king Sidabutar.

Breakfast at the hotel and proceed to the motor boat port (Fery) to cross back to Parapat, where your car awaits. Continuing the journey to Medan, passing through the cities of Pematang Siantar and Tebingtinggi. Most of the sights on the way are oil palm, rubber and cocoa plantations. Upon arrival in Medan, the group will be taken directly to the hotel for rest and free program.

Back to Kualanamu airport for the next flight, the tour is over and see you again....
